Our shipping service acts as a bridge between Cape Cod and the Islands, for those looking to ship one item or a truck full of items, with packing and white-glove delivery options available. By using our weekly standing ferry reservations, matched with our Island and Cape warehouses we are able to accommodate all projects, from businesses to homeowners, with ease.
SHIPPING FAQ
YFWT determines the price of shipping by calculating the cubic footprint of the item(s). The cubic feet are then multiplied by a distance rate provided by YFWT. A customer can also choose options to have the shipment professionally packed and delivered to its final destination, (white-glove delivery) at an additional cost. Curbside delivery is offered at NO additional cost.
It is an additional fee selected while booking your shipment. It is the act of moving, placing, or assembling the items within your home, business, or storage unit.
YFWT will pack and protect all items for safe transport by using packing materials and blanket wrapping. If packing materials are to be used it must be specifically requested, as the shipment will incur an additional cost.
Yes, YFWT will provide an inventory of all items in its possession at any time during the shipping process.
YFWT offers three separate standards for items received at our warehouse to make pricing as efficient as possible. Depending on the item(s) a customer is looking to have received, a YFWT manager will assign the receiving style.

Yes, YFWT will hold all items until the customer’s desired delivery date. However, if YFWT is required to hold the item(s) for more than a week the item(s) will be charged storage fees regarding the cubic foot of the item(s) held.
No, if a customer is unable to be present the YFWT delivery team will provide photos and information about the item's delivery.
SHIPPING TO THE ISLANDS
We offer two styles of shipping to Nantucket, "Warehouse" or "A to B".
Warehouse: Choose to have items dropped off by your own means or another shipper or vendor. Our experienced staff will receive, inspect, inventory, and organize your shipment to your project parameters, before completing delivery on Nantucket or the Vineyard.
A to B: We organize weekly and monthly trips to areas throughout New England and beyond. Your Friend With A Truck will complete 100% of the shipping process by receiving, transporting, and delivering the item(s) to its final destination.
SHIPPING TO THE MAINLAND
We offer two styles of shipping to the Mainland, "Warehouse" or "A to B".
Warehouse: Our experienced staff will receive, inspect, inventory, and organize your shipment to your projects parameters. Once received at our Cape warehouse the items will then be available for pickup by another shipper or vendor.
A to B: We organize weekly and monthly trips to areas throughout New England and beyond. If a customer would rather use Your Friend With A Truck to complete 100% of the shipping process we'll receive, transport, and deliver the item(s) to it's final destination.
