After receiving his BA in Environmental Science, Curren made a move of his own to the West Coast.
Needing a supplemental income, Curren first experienced the trade with a large multi-branched moving company in San Diego. Working his way up the ladder, he found he had enjoyed mastering the skills of the trade.
After reaching the top of his growth with the company, Curren realized his skills and knowledge of the industry had potentially opened the door to a new opportunity
MAN ON THE MOVE
When Curren returned to his roots on Nantucket in 2015, it was evident that the island could benefit from his newly mastered skills.
With islanders and visitors alike in the constant shuffle, he saw an excellent opportunity to help the community by providing them with a professional, locally-based moving service—for islanders, by islanders.

BY 2016, Your Friend With A Truck was born, and Curren set out to establish his business in the community. Curren quickly learned that the key to success relied on strong leadership, an enthusiastic, hard-working team, and consistent quality of customer service.
Today, Your Friend With A Truck has grown from a Nantucket operation to servicing Cape Cod, both islands, and beyond. Offering services from short and long-distance moving, to white-glove delivery, and storage. Your Friend With A Truck aims to act as a bridge between the islands and the Mainland while upholding its standards and unbeatable customer service.
